Norwegian subsea solutions provider Stinger won a service contract by Equinor to execute inspection activities on multiple offshore installations. Norwegian subsea solutions provider Stinger won a service contract by Equinor to execute inspection activities on multiple offshore installations.

The deal will cover work in 2020 with options for 5-year extension.

Stinger will utilise ARROV underwater drones and tools tailored for the harsh conditions in the NCS.

The work scope includes Sleipner, Statfjord, Gudrun, Draupner, Gina Krog and also Johan Sverdrup.

Also, the list is expandable with other installations at a later stage.
