Liquefied natural gas terminals on the shores of the United Kingdom’s Milford Haven waterway have booked the first May cargoes.
Milford Haven Port Authority shipping data shows that the Q-Max LNG carrier Shagra is heading for South Hook LNG terminal. The vessel capable of transporting up to 266,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel will deliver a cargo on May 1, according to the schedule. The cargo was loaded at Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex.
The second cargo is being transported from Novatek’s Yamal LNG project in the Russian Arctic. The Arctic tanker capable of transporting 172,000 cubic meters of LNG is heading for the Dragon LNG terminal. Unloading is scheduled for May 3.
The Umm Al Amad is the next in line to deliver a cargo. The 210,000-cbm tanker is scheduled to deliver another Qatari cargo to the South Hook terminal on May 5.
