NHV Group has started carrying out its helicopter services for the Borssele 1 & 2 offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
The flights depart from NHV’s recently installed base in Arnemuiden, Midden-Zeeland, to the project site located 23 kilometres from Westkapelle.
The company stated it had taken delivery of a new H145 aircraft for the Midden-Zeeland operations.
Borssele 1 & 2 will comprise a total of 94 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW turbines, of which the first was installed in mid-April.
The 752 MW project recently delivered first power to the Dutch grid.
