IEV Group has been awarded an advanced inspection solutions contract in Malaysia.
The contract was awarded by an unnamed oil and gas producer.
The contract will see IEV provide ultrasonic scanner technology deployed by a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to inspect a subsea pipeline located at the offshore field in Malaysia.
The contract is estimated to have a value in excess of $1.5 million.
Equipment and personnel preparation and mobilization have started, and offshore work is planned to be undertaken within the next few months.
