Elia and 50Hertz have issued a tender seeking a provider of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) for offshore and onshore substations in Belgium and Germany.
The selected party will be in charge of designing, factory testing, installing, on-site testing and commissioning 66kV offshore GIS, 220kV offshore and onshore GIS, as well as 380kV onshore GIS.
Additionally, the contractor will provide all the necessary accessories and services, as well as maintenance five years after the end of the last warranty period.
The duration of the contract is five years, with options for renewals.
The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 10 June by 11:45 local time.
