Norwegian offshore vessel provider Solstad Offshore has picked a new chief financial officer (CFO).
Solstad said on Tuesday that Kjetil Ramstad would take up the CFO position as of 2 June 2020. He comes from the position of finance director in Solstad Offshore and has worked for the company since 2018.
He has similar experience from his time as the finance director and CFO at the DeepOcean group from 2008 to 2018.
Lars Peder Solstad , CEO of Solstad Offshore, said: “ I am very pleased to have Kjetil as new CFO in Solstad. He has a strong financial background and a solid operational experience from global businesses. Together with Mr. Eivind Kvilhaug, the vice president of finance, he will head the very strong financial team in the company “.
It is worth noting that Ramstad succeeds Anders Hall Jomaas , who will become the CFO in DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS.
