Teledyne Marine has promoted Stephen Apsey to the role of vice president and general manager of Teledyne RDI.
California-based Teledyne RDI manufactures acoustic Doppler products, servicing a wide array of marine markets and applications.
Apsey is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Previously, he served as vice president of engineering at Teledyne RDI.
He also held several key roles at Teledyne, including general manager of Teledyne Odom Hydrographic, Site Manager for Teledyne RESON.
“Stephen’s strong technical aptitude and background, familiarity with the Teledyne Marine products and brands, and proven strong leadership skills make him the ideal candidate to take on this important role,” Teledyne said.
In his new position, Apsey will oversee all of the Teledyne Marine brands and product lines located in the Poway facility.
This includes RD Instruments, SeaBotix and also Oceanscience.
