Dutch offshore contractor Heerema Marine Contractors has been awarded a contract by HSM Offshore for the transportation and installation of Dana Petroleum’s P11-Unity platform.
HSM Offshore was awarded an EPCI contract for the Unity platform back in November 2019 with completion expected in November 2020.

The gas production platform with a two-deck topside will support two production wells and associated utility and control systems in the Dutch North Sea.
Heerema said on Monday it will execute the project using Sleipnir, the world’s largest semi-submersible crane vessel (SSCV).
The P11-Unity platform weighs ca. 400 tons, making it one of the world’s smallest due to its back-to-basics design.
The platform will be installed later this year following Sleipnir’s busy summer campaign throughout the North Sea.
Previous months have also been busy for Heerema’s giant vessel.
Earlier this year, the Sleipnir lifted a module for Equinor’s Snorre A platform from the quayside at Aibel’s yard in Haugesund, Norway, ahead of its transportation and installation in the North Sea off Norway.
In May, the giant SSCV also transported and installed the Nova topside module on the Gjøa platform in the North Sea and completed its first decommissioning campaign of the season in May.
