Germany’s Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) has issued a tender seeking geophysical and hydrographic monitoring for the geological preliminary investigations at three offshore wind zones.

The tender is divided into two lots, including monitoring of geophysical surveys for 2020, 2021 and 2022, as well as accompanying the hydrographic measurements for the same years.

The relevant investigation areas are the N-6, N-9 and N-10 zones in the German exclusive economic zone (EEZ).

Work includes data acquisition, processing and evaluation, and the creation of GIS and evaluation products and reports.

The contract would start on 1 September this year and end on 30 November 2022.

The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 10 August by 11:00 local time.
