GTT pens global TSA with Fleet Management

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) containment specialist GTT signed a technical services agreement (TSA) with the Hong Kong-based Fleet Management.

Under the TSA GTT will support the ship management company with shipbuilding supervision, maintenance and operation of the vessels they manage.

GTT added the agreement includes technical assistance for inspection, maintenance, repairs, operations and engineering service.

It also includes around-the-clock access to GTT experts responding to operational issues.

Fleet Management is currently supervising the newbuilding of a new generation of Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLEC), under construction in Korea.

The delivery of the vessels is planned from October 2020 onwards. All vessels are equipped with GTT Mark III technology.
