Elia and 50Hertz have issued a call for tenders for the delivery of offshore power transformers, shunt reactors, and auxiliary and earthing transformers for their offshore substations in Belgium and Germany.
The transmission system operators (TSOs) are looking for the design, manufacturing, factory testing, supply, delivery, unloading, installation, on-site testing, commissioning and after-sales servicing of power transformers, shunt reactors and auxiliary and earthing transformers.
The contracts will be in effect for six years with an option to prolong them for a year two times.
The TSOs will also award maintenance contracts, which will have a duration of up to five years after the end of the last warranty period under the contract.
The tender is open until 15 October 2020.
Earlier this month, Elia and 50Hertz launched a tender to enter framework agreements for offshore and onshore substations, offshore and onshore cable supply and installation, as well as supervision services for UXO, survey, dredging and construction works in Belgium and Germany.
