Vattenfall has reissued the call for qualification for a tender that will seek helicopter crew transfer services for the DanTysk, Sandbank and Horns Rev 1 offshore wind farms.

Vattenfall plans to enter into a contract with a party which will provide a helicopter with the crew for O&M work to be carried out in weather conditions not suitable for using a crew transfer vessel (CTV).

The developer initially launched the qualification period for the tender in August, which has now been discontinued and replaced with the new call.

The selected company will provide crew transfer services between Esbjerg Heliport and the accommodation platforms at the DanTysk and Sandbank projects.

Additionally, the contractor will be in charge of the transfer and hoisting of technicians to the Horns Rev 1 wind farm for troubleshooting.

The helicopter is expected to be available 365 days a year. The contract will begin on 1 June 2021, with a duration of two years and an option for extension two times by one year.

The qualification period is open until 24 September.
