Leading offshore wind developer Ørsted is seeking recruitment services for temporary staff at its offshore wind farms in Germany.
The primary purpose of the framework consultancy agreements is to meet the demands for temporary staff at Ørsted’s current and future offshore wind farm projects located in Germany.
The temporary staff will be employed by the supplier and made available to Ørsted as consultants on an ad-hoc basis.
The tender is divided into three lots. Lot 1 covers the supply of temporary staff for offshore operations and logistics, commissioning, offshore operations and logistics — onshore, project management roles, QHSE, and engineering (separately for wind turbines and foundations).
Lot 2 covers these categories: supervisors, cables, electrical engineering, HV/MV, protection, SAP and control engineers on- and offshore, and commissioning.
Under Lot 3, Ørsted is seeking temporary staff for the operations and maintenance of the wind farms.
The framework agreements will have a duration of 60 months. The tender will remain open until 5 October.
Ørsted currently operates three offshore wind farms in Germany, the 312 MW Borkum Riffgrund 1 , the 450 MW Borkum Riffgrund 2 , and the 582 MW Gode Wind 1 & 2 .
In the 2017 and the 2018 offshore wind auctions, Ørsted was awarded contracts for five further projects in the German North Sea with a combined capacity of around 1.14GW.
The developer has since bundled the five wind farms into two projects, the 900 MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 , and the 242 MW Gode Wind 3 .
Gode Wind 3 is expected to be commissioned in 2024, with Borkum Riffgrund 3 following a year later.
