State-owned Pakistan LNG Limited floated a tender seeking delivery of six cargoes of the liquefied natural gas at the beginning of next year.

Pakistan LNG seeking six cargoes for January 2021

State-owned Pakistan LNG Limited floated a tender seeking delivery of six cargoes of the liquefied natural gas at the beginning of next year.

According to the tender document, the company is looking for six cargoes, up to 140,000 cubic meters each, for delivery through January 2021.

The first cargo in the batch is set for delivery in the January 8-11 window. The last of the cargoes is scheduled for delivery in the January 29-February 1 window.

All cargoes will be supplied on a Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) basis to the facility located in Port Wasim, Karachi.

The company is importing LNG through the FSRU BW Integrity serving at Port Qasim, Karachi.

BW’s FSRU BW Integrity has a storage capacity in excess of 170,000 cubic meters has a peak regasification capacity of 750 million standard cubic feet per day.

Last month, Pakistan LNG firmed up a supply deal with compatriot utility Karachi Electric. under the agreement, Pakistan LNG will supply regasified liquefied natural gas to 900 MW KE BQPS-III power plant.
