French LNG containment specialist GTT is contracted to design the tanks for an LNG carrier newbuild.
The tank designs are ordered by the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
The vessel will be capable of transporting up to 174,000 cubic meteres of chilled fuel.
The LNGC tanks will be fitted with the GTT Mark III Flex membrane containment system.
The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.
