Energy services group Three60 Energy has announced a strategic addition to its engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPC&C) service line.

Three60 Energy said that it appointed Garrie Scott as the project director of the EPC&C arm. Scott brings significant UK and international energy industry experience to Three60 Energy having spent over four decades with operators, consultancy, and tier 1 EPC organisations in senior positions.

He enhances the EPC&C management team with a strong track record, delivering across all phases of the project lifecycle in brownfield and major project environments.

From front-end to execute phase, Scott’s project management career has focussed on collaborating with clients and stakeholders to successfully deliver high value against project objectives.

His appointment comes as Three60 Energy outlines plans to recruit 50 people over the next 12 months amid new global contract wins and predicted growth throughout 2021.

Three60 Energy managing director Alasdair Smith said: “ Garrie has successfully delivered some of the industry’s most complex brownfield projects in recent times while also building long term relationships in the delivery of modification portfolios. He brings drive, enthusiasm and new ideas in everything he does and I’m delighted he has chosen to join the Three60 Energy team ”.

It is worth reminding that Three60 Energy was recently awarded a contract for the provision of duty holder O&M services to the FPSO Intrepid offshore the Phillippines. The FPSO Intrepid is currently producing from the Galoc Field. At the time, Three60 Energy did not reveal the financial terms of the deal but did describe it as a “ multi-million-pound contract ”.

Under the terms of the life of field contract, the company will carry out operations and maintenance duties on behalf of the Galoc JV, to improve performance and extend the field’s economic life.

This deal was also the first duty holder O&M services award for the company outside the UK North Sea.
