Atlas Professionals has secured a frame agreement with Ørsted to provide temporary personnel services for the offshore wind developer in Germany.

The agreement commenced on 1 March and will cover the provision of qualified personnel during the full life cycle of Ørsted’s offshore wind farms in Germany until the end of 2025.

The roles Atlas will provide will range from engineering, electrical, operations and logistics to project management, commissioning and various roles related to O&M inspections.

Atlas Professionals will support Ørsted in filling these positions through the company’s offices in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

“We are very pleased that Ørsted has trusted Atlas with the extension of our services. Our extensive network in Germany will allow us to cover local professionals, combined with expertise from the UK. We are committed to ensure all deliverables and objectives are met, whilst working in a safe environment,” said Martine Rondeel , Director Renewables at Atlas Professionals.

In Germany, Ørsted is currently developing the Borkum Riffgrun 3 and Gode Wind 3 offshore wind projects.

The two wind farms will both feature the new Siemens Gamesa 11.0-200 DD turbine. Gode Wind 3 is expected to be commissioned in 2024, with Borkum Riffgrund 3 following a year later.
