Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has been awarded a contract from compatriot oil giant Equinor for one of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).
The vessel owner said on Thursday that Equinor awarded the contract to the PSV Havila Clipper .
The contract is for a firm period of 70 days with options for 20 days.
The beginning of the contract is scheduled to happen in direct continuation of the vessel’s existing contract.
Equinor previously awarded a contract to the Havila Clipper vessel over a year ago, back in February 2020.
The contract was for eight months firm with four two-month optional periods.
Havila Clipper is a platform supply vessel of a Havyard 832 Design built in 2011.
