Hengtong completes first domestic subsea cable delivery

Chinese power and fiber optic cable manufacturer Hengtong has completed the first domestic delivery of submarine cable for the Xuwen offshore wind project in Zhanjiang.

Hengtong completes first domestic subsea cable delivery

Chinese power and fiber optic cable manufacturer Hengtong has completed the first domestic delivery of submarine cable for the Xuwen offshore wind project in Zhanjiang .

The company delivered over 40 kilometers of 220kV 3C1000 mm² of submarine cable for State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC).

The Xuwen wind farm will comprise 95 wind turbines located some 20 kilometers east of Xuwen County.

The Chinese offshore wind farm will have a total capacity of 600 MW.

The first MySE6.45-180 turbine was installed in April, at what is the first phase of the project with a capacity of 303 MW.
