Stril Mar PSV - Simon Møkster

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Simon Møkster Shipping has been awarded more work with compatriot Aker BP to support its drilling campaign offshore Norway.

Simon Møkster said on Friday that Aker BP has called off a high spec PSV under the current PSV Strategic Partnership Agreement for a drilling campaign, starting August 2021.

The duration of the campaign is estimated to about 100 days and Møkster intends to use the modern PSV Stril Mar for this project.

The previous call-off for the Stril Mar was awarded back in February 2021 for the duration of four months.

The Stril Mar is a large modern PSV built in 2016 and has been employed by Aker BP on earlier occasions. The vessel is of a UT776 WP design.
