iSurvey to support Nexans offshore cable laying ops

iSurvey has secured a multi-year contract to support Nexans’ global offshore high voltage cable installation projects.

As part of the contract, the company will provide survey support for the recently launched cable laying vessel (CLV) Nexans Aurora and other installation and support vessels, including Nexans Skagerrak .

The contract worth NOK 150 million (approximately $17 million) has options to be extended, iSurvey said.

Øivind Røegh , CEO of iSurvey, said that the company had been collaborating with Nexans since 2007.

To remind, the delivery and the naming ceremony of the DP3 cable laying vessel Aurora took place at the beginning of June.

Its first assignment will be the installation of the export cables at the 1,075 MW Seagreen offshore wind farm in Scotland.
