Solstad Offshore in fleet reshuffle with two vessels sold

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has recently sold one vessel to a new owner, secured an extension for another, and sold one other vessel for recycling.

Solstad sold the AHTS Nor Tigerfish and delivered it to a new, unnamed owner on Wednesday 25 August. The vessel was built in 2007.

Earlier this week, Solstad Offshore reported that Equinor had declared an option to extend the contract for anchor handling vessel Normand Ferking with one more year to November 2022. Equinor has the option to extend the contract for a further 2 x 1 years.

Normand Ferking has been on contract with Equinor since 2007 and will continue to support its activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The vessel is of a VS 490 design, built in 2007.

Furthermore, last Friday, Solstad sold the AHTS Sea Panther for recycling. Delivery of the vessel took place on 20 August 2021. The vessel is of a KMAR 404 design, built in 1999.
