Brazil’s offshore vessel operator CBO has closed the acquisition of compatriot player Finarge Apoio Maritimo, taking over five AHTS vessels in the transaction.

Finarge is a Brazilian shipping firm founded in 2008 as a subsidiary of the Italian company, Finarge SRL, which was established in 1981 by Italy’s Rimorchiatori Riuniti S.p.A. Finarge is the owner of one anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) Brazilian-flagged vessel, while four foreign-flagged AHTS vessels belong to the Italian Finarge Armamento Genovese SRL, thus, CBO has now acquired five AHTS type vessels in total as agreed on 11 August 2021 .
