U.S. LNG project developer Tellurian has appointed James D. Bennett as a new independent board member.
Energy and financial industry veteran James D. Bennett served as the former president and CEO of SandRidge Energy. Previously, he held the position of managing director first at GSO Capital Partners and then also at White Deer Energy.
Bennet is a current board member and executive chairman of Tapstone Energy, an Oklahoma-based gas company.
It is worth mentioning that he has over 30 years of experience.
Tellurian executive chairman Charif Souki sees Bennet as an invaluable addition to the team, as Tellurian LNG focuses on enhancing its Haynesville upstream position.
