Crown Estate Scotland has announced plans to double the size of its energy and infrastructure team as part of its commitment to help Scotland meet its 2045 net-zero targets.
Over the coming weeks, applicants will be sought for seven roles covering a host of disciplines.

The expanded team will work on ScotWind leasing and the next generation of offshore wind projects, as well as new or emerging opportunities including carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen and wave and tidal energy development.
Colin Palmer , director of marine at Crown Estate Scotland, said: “It’s a really exciting time for offshore renewables with ScotWind Leasing set to deliver major benefits to Scotland, as well as a further leasing round which is currently being developed.
“ Doubling our team reflects our commitment to help Scotland remain world-leading in offshore renewables and support new technologies. It’s critical that we have an expanded, diverse team to help take this forward”.

ScotWind is Scotland’s current offshore wind leasing process – the first of its kind in a decade – and is set to deliver enough green electricity to power every home in Scotland and make a major contribution to the getting the country to net-zero by 2045.
The new roles are expected to help expand and develop Crown Estate Scotland’s work in helping decarbonise Scotland’s energy supply, attract inward investment, and deliver major benefits to Scottish communities.
Advertisement of the roles will begin on 4 October, Crown Estate Scotland said.
