Correll Group has secured a contract with Prysmian for the pull-in of two export cables at the 480 MW Saint-Nazaire offshore wind project in France.
Correll will be in charge of completing the pull-in operations of the two 225 kV export cables, each about 33 kilometers long, to the offshore substation.

“This project will be completed using Correll’s cable pull-in and termination & testing team under our new bespoke turnkey solution.”
Prysmian is in charge of the manufacture, delivery and installation of the project’s export cables, as well as the production and delivery of the inter-array cables, under a contract secured back in 2017 .
The company’s cable-laying vessel Cable Enterprise began the installation of export cables in August last year. Inter-array cable installation began this August.
Saint-Nazaire will feature 80 GE Haliade 150-6MW turbines installed between 12 and 20 kilometers off the coast of the Guérande peninsula.
Once fully commissioned in 2022, the project, also known as Parc du Banc de Guérande, will become France’s first operating commercial offshore wind farm.
