Contract extensions for Siem Stingray and Siem Spearfish

Norwegian subsea shipping company Siem Offshore has secured contract extensions for its offshore subsea construction vessels (OSCVs) Siem Stingray and Siem Spearfish.

Siem Stingray will continue working for GE Renewable Energy under a contract secured at the beginning of the year.

The extension will see the versatile vessel further utilized into the first quarter of 2022.

As part of its contract extension, Siem Spearfish will continue performing its current subsea construction duties for an undisclosed client at a project in the Gulf of Mexico.

Siem Spearfish is carrying out subsea and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) duties as part of a contract secured in April .

This extension will see the vessel employed well into the first quarter of 2022, with corresponding new options issued thereafter.
