U.S. offshore rig count stays flat for two weeks

Based on Baker Hughes’ weekly rig count report, the number of offshore rigs in the U.S. remained unchanged at 15 for two weeks in a row.

U.S. offshore rig count stays flat for two weeks

Based on Baker Hughes’ weekly rig count report from Wednesday, the number of offshore rigs in the U.S. remained unchanged at 15 for two weeks in a row.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. +6 to 569 rigs U.S. Rig Count is up 6 from last week to 569 with oil rigs up 6 to 467, gas rigs unchanged at 102, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 0. U.S. Rig Count is up 249 rigs from last year’s count of 320, with oil rigs up 226 gas rigs up 25 and miscellaneous rigs down 2. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 15, up 3 year-over-year. Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada +4 to 171 rigs. Canada Rig Count is up 4 from last week to 171, with oil rigs up 4 to 106, gas rigs unchanged at 65. Canada Rig Count is up 69 rigs from last year’s count of 102, with oil rigs up 68, gas rigs up 1.
