U.S. Rig Count is up 249 rigs from last year’s count of 320, with oil rigs up 226 gas rigs up 25 and miscellaneous rigs down 2. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 15, up 3 year-over-year. Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada +4 to 171 rigs. Canada Rig Count is up 4 from last week to 171, with oil rigs up 4 to 106, gas rigs unchanged at 65. Canada Rig Count is up 69 rigs from last year’s count of 102, with oil rigs up 68, gas rigs up 1.
