Norwegian offshore vessel operator Havila Shipping has secured new contracts for two of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).
Havila said on Wednesday that it had entered into contracts with Peterson Den Helder for the PSV Havila Borg and the PSV Havila Herøy .
The Havila Borg was contracted for a fixed period of 6 months and one optional period of 12 months. The Havila Herøy was hired for a fixed period of a drilling campaign estimated to be 90 days and one optional period for up to 370 days.
Havila Borg has started and Havila Herøy will start on the new contract on 18 October in direct continuation of work for Peterson.
Peterson previously contracted Havila Herøy in March 2022 for a fixed period of 70 days plus options.
The 2009-built PSV Havila Herøy is of a Havyard 832 CD design and it was built at Havyard Leirvik yard. The 2009-built Havila Borg is of a Havyard 832 design and it was built by Havyard Tomrefjord.
