Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC) and Australian Ocean Energy Group (AOEG) have entered into formal collaboration with the joint goal to accelerate international development of the ocean energy industry.
According to the organizations, the key aim of this alliance is to advance renewable ocean energy through the exchange of technical and market knowledge.
Together, the organizations plan to build upon their respective efforts to increase international market demand for the rapidly maturing ocean energy industry .
AOEG is an industry-led cluster formed to facilitate collaboration of the ocean energy industry in Australia.
Its primary aim is to accelerate the commercialization of wave and tidal energy into Australia’s energy resource mix, by creating viable markets for ocean energy, by connecting the industry with potential end users and facilitating the alignment of technologies that directly address market needs, including decarbonization, electrification, reliability, safety and predictability of supply.

DMEC acts as an accelerator for marine energy sector by collaborating with clients in various market segments to identify, explore and realize tailored solutions using innovative marine energy technologies.
