Ireland-headquartered BlueWise Marine, servicing the marine and offshore renewable industries, has appointed three new members to its board of directors .
BlueWise Marine appointed Rogerio Chumbinho, Mairéad Elliott and Louise O’Boyle to the board.
Chumbinho has held the position of Senior Project Manager at the company since 2014 and is said to play a key role in delivering projects for the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
“The company is at an exciting development stage, thanks to the collective effort of a talented team. Being on the Board will allow me to contribute to the company’s strategy and continuous improvement with my experience from the marine sector and business, for the benefit of our clients and wellbeing of the team,” said Chumbinho .
Elliott joined BlueWise Marine in 2017 as Business Development & Projects Coordinator and was last year promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager. She manages the Marketing & Communications team and handles the delivery of client projects, with a particular focus on Community & Stakeholder Engagement services.
Furthermore, O’Boyle joined the team in 2019 as a Project Manager and was in 2021 promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager. She now manages delivery of projects for offshore renewable energy clients, including environmental assessment and planning as well as health, safety, quality and management services (HSEQ).
