Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has secured another contract with compatriot oil giant Equinor for one of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).
Havila reported on 15 February that Equinor awarded the contract to the PSV Havila Clipper.
The contract is for a firm period of six months, including two optional periods each of two months.
It starts in the second half of February in direct continuation of the existing contract .
The 80-meter-long Havila Clipper was built in 2011 and is of Havyard 832 Design. It can accommodate 25 persons.
Speaking of its most recent news, Havila Shipping secured new contracts with Peterson Den Helder for its Havila Borg and Havila Herøy PSVs in October 2022.
Havila Borg was contracted for a fixed period of six months and one optional period of 12 months, while Havila Herøy was hired for a fixed period of a drilling campaign estimated to be 90 days and one optional period for up to 370 days.
