Denmark-headquartered Maersk Supply Service has won a three-year contract with Brazilian oil and gas giant Petrobras for three of its anchor handlers to be deployed offshore Brazil.
The L-class anchor handlers Maersk Leader, Maersk Launcher and Maersk Lancer have been delivered in Brazil and will perform a work scope of anchoring handling activities and rig movements.
With this contract in place, twelve vessels from the Maersk Supply Service fleet are currently serving the Brazilian and Latin American markets.

According to Maersk Supply Service, this latest contract continues to consolidate its presence in Brazil and follows a series of solutions contracts for the FPSO Fluminense on behalf of Shell, as well as the Mero 2 contract for Petrobras.
At the end of 2022, the Danish company also won a contract with ExxonMobil Guyana for the subsea support vessel (SSV) Maersk Nomad.
