Norway-headquartered Shearwater GeoServices has secured a contract to deliver a 4D geophysical monitor survey in Cote d’Ivoire.

The project will be conducted by the 113-meter-long seismic acquisition vessel SW Empress over a period of approximately two months beginning this May.

According to Shearwater, the activities will be done in direct continuation of ongoing surveys in the region.

“We look forward to our first project in Cote d’Ivoire and to forge a new Client-relationship,” said Shearwater GeoServices CEO Irene Waage Basili . “Our robust 4D solutions deliver reliable and accurate information, enabling our client to make informed reservoir-management decisions.”

Speaking about other recent news coming from the company, it is worth noting that at the beginning of March Shearwater GeoServices secured a third project offshore South Korea with Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC).

Under the contract, Shearwater is delivering a 3D streamer survey covering 1,200 square kilometers.
