Norwegian offshore vessel operator Havila Shipping has secured contract extensions for two of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).

Havila reported on Tuesday, 20 June 2023, that Equinor had extended the existing contract for the PSV Havila Clipper until June 2024. In addition, an optional period of six months has been agreed for the period up to December 2024.

The 2011-built PSV Havila Clipper is of Havyard 832 CD design. It can accommodate 25 people. The previous extension for this vessel was revealed in February 2023 .

The vessel owner also reported that Peterson Den Helder had decided to make use of the two one-year extension options for the PSV Havila Borg from April 2024 to April 2026.

The 2009-built Havila Borg is of a Havyard 832 design and it was built by Havyard Tomrefjord. It can accommodate 23 people. The previous extension was exercised in March 2023.

Havila Shipping has been busy securing new deals and extending existing ones. The most recent contract extensions come less than two months after the firm got a contract extension for another PSV with TotalEnergies.
