UK-headquartered integrated services provider AquaTerra Group has won four deals for decommissioning projects, said to be valued in the million-dollar price range.

According to the Group’s Managing Director, Stephen Taylor , these are already paving the way for the company to achieve its target turnover of £14 million (approximately $17.73 million) in 2024. The firm shared that it was hired by several new clients in the past year, including the Netherlands-based Allseas , with the firm serving as a subcontractor on two projects.

The first was an engineering, preparation, removal, and disposal (EPRD) project on Enquest’ s Heather Alpha platform. AquaTerra’s scope of work entailed providing engineering, fabrication, access, and construction teams to carry out underdeck preparation for topside removal.

The second project took place on TAQA’ s Cormorant Alpha platform, where AquaTerra worked with Allseas on removing underdeck obstructions in preparation for topside removal, which prompted Wood to hire the UK firm for additional work on the same platform.

Furthermore, AquaTerra won its first decommissioning contract with CNR International on the Ninian South platform, where it supported conductor decommissioning by deploying, among other things, its modular suspended access platform, QuikDeck .

Taylor remarked: “The team and I are delighted that we were selected by Allseas through what was a competitive tendering process for the Enquest and TAQA projects. This is also the first time that we have worked with Wood in several years, so it is great to be supporting them again.

The UK firm’s subsidiary Aquaterra Energy recently won a three-year contract to provide analysis services for an undisclosed operator’s global offshore operations. Apart from that, it was hired by INEOS for work on repurposing the Nini offshore platform for CO2 injection.
