UK-headquartered provider of subsea infrastructure installation and protection Enshore Subsea has opened an office in France to support continued growth in its EPCI Projects division.
Located in central Paris, the new office is set to provide a base for the company’s team working on turnkey EPCI projects, offering an adaptable space with plans to expand already in development as the team continues to grow.
Pierre Boyde , Managing Director of Enshore Subsea, said: “As we have grown our EPCI capabilities we have strengthened our personnel expertise with strategic hires over the last two years. The Paris office is situated in an ideal talent hub for project management which is vital as we bring more people on board to support our existing EPCI project teams.”
Enshore Subsea has an ongoing EPCI project in a strategic joint venture with Belgium’s Herbosch-Kiere which began last summer.
The project involves the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of both land and submarine cables incorporating two ~17.5-kilometer 220 kV links stretching across the bay of Dakar, Senegal, from Cap des Biches production unit to Bel Air distribution substation.
As part of the newly created joint venture, the two companies have purchased a 25-year-old cable-laying vessel (CLV). The 1999-built, 88-meter-long Topaz Installer was renamed and branded to CMOS Installer.
The shallow draft DP2 vessel recently reached the end of its dry dock and upgrade in Singapore, before leaving for its first project role in new livery.
