Aberdeen-based THREE60 Energy has appointed a new Renewables Director, Scott Roy, to support a just energy transition and help customers reach their Net Zero targets.
Scott Roy will oversee the Aberdeen-based company’s strategic growth efforts across the company’s service lines. According to THREE60 Energy, Roy will focus on integrating the company’s engineering, operations, and product offerings to provide effective and sustainable project solutions for customers.
Roy has been with the company for five years and previously held the role of Strategic Development Director, providing him with an understanding of the business and objectives.
With over two decades of his experience in the energy industry, including extensive work in offshore wind and renewables, THREE60 Energy said that Roy will play a key role in leading the company’s renewable energy efforts.

THREE60 Energy provides integrated solutions in renewable energy, carbon capture and storage, nuclear, decarbonization, and decommissioning.
The company has also worked on projects involving battery energy storage systems (BESS), hydrogen, and wave and tidal energy integration .
In May, THREE60 Energy and Japan-headquartered Sumitomo Electric Industries (SEI) signed a multi-million-pound contract for SEI’s new power cable factory in Nigg, Scotland. This facility is perceived to be the first and only high-voltage cable manufacturing plant in the UK.
In terms of recent news coming from THREE60, in June, the company acquired a local subsea engineering company to enhance its capabilities.
