Singapore’s offshore marine solutions company PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH), part of the Kuok Maritime Group, is extending its subsea construction capabilities into the Middle East with the award of a maiden contract in the Arabian Gulf.
POSH has secured a subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) contract with what it describes as a leading oil & gas EPC major in the Arabian Gulf, under which it will deliver the transportation and installation (T&I) of various SURF products, with offshore execution scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2025.
The scope includes miscellaneous pre-lay and post-lay support services, along with the installation of approximately 170 kilometers of power cables, umbilicals and flexible flowlines.
The company will use its DP-3 multipurpose offshore construction vessel (OCV) POSH Deep C to transport and install subsea umbilicals risers and flowlines products for several projects.

POSH acquired POSH Deep C , at the time known as BOA Deep C, from BOA OCV back in 2022. The capabilities of the 119-meter-long vessel encompass deepwater floaters and mooring installation and removal, installation of offshore floating wind structures and mooring systems as well as SURF installation works.
