French engineering player Technip Energies and catalysts, technical services, and licensed process technologies provider, Shell Catalysts & Technologies, are advancing their decade-long collaboration, moving towards global exclusivity for delivering amine-based post-combustion carbon capture solutions.
According to Technip Energies, the partnership is centered around Shell’s CANSOLV CO2 Capture System, a leading technology in the sector.
Since the beginning of the alliance in 2012, the companies have combined expertise to meet rising industrial demand for carbon capture and storage (CCS) solutions. Now, with the energy transition driving accelerated deployment of decarbonization technologies, the strengthened alliance aims to scale CCS across key industrial sectors.
