EQUANS, an energy services provider, and INOCEL, a company that designs, manufactures and markets hydrogen fuel cells, have signed a partnership agreement to develop an energy storage and production solution using carbon-free hydrogen.
As disclosed, the partnership aims to deliver a “turnkey, high-performance, environmentally-friendly” energy generation solution for a variety of applications, including:
The partners aim to provide energy storage and generation solutions ranging from 300 kW to several MW. For the hydrogen generator component, INOCEL will provide the fuel cell, while EQUANS will handle containerization. For customers requiring a complete hydrogen solution including hydrogen production, storage and power generation, the partners will, reportedly, combine their expertise and leverage their partner networks across the entire value chain.
