Norwegian vessel owner DOF Group has received more work in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region set to be performed this year, adding to a number of recently announced awards.
The diving support vessel (DSV) Skandi Singapore will execute the first subsea service contract with related saturation diving services offshore Malaysia, starting in the second quarter of 2025 and expected to take 30 days.
The second contract is for construction support services in Indonesia and will utilize one of the region’s multipurpose vessels for offshore execution in Q3 2025 with an expected duration of seven weeks.
According to Mons Aase , CEO of DOF Group, the contract awards secure backlog for the APAC region with an estimated combined value of over $30 million.
Both scopes include the company’s in-house project management and engineering, related subsea and logistics support.
DOF in August 2024 won an extension for Skandi Singapore in Asia Pacific, followed by a new subsea decommissioning services contract award for the construction support vessel (CSV) Skandi Hercules . In October, the company secured a new long-term assignment for its platform supply vessel (PSV) Skandi Feistein off Australia, and in November it was reported that DOF was to spend 150 days in APAC as part of an inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) and associated subsea services contract award .
In terms of other news worth mentioning, DOF at the end of 2024 completed the purchase of Maersk Supply Service (MSS) , bringing its workforce to over 5,000 people and its fleet to 78 vessels, 65 of which are owned.
