Provider of underwater sensor solutions Impact Subsea has signed a distributor agreement with Ashtead Technology Singapore to broaden access to its sensor technology for remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) applications in the region.

Through the agreement, which builds on the existing relationship between the two UK companies, Impact Subsea’s product range will be available for purchase and rental through Ashtead Technology’s Singapore hub.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with Ashtead Technology in Singapore. Their comprehensive rental and sales network provides an ideal platform to accelerate the growth of Impact Subsea’s technology,” said Ben Grant , Managing Director at Impact Subsea.

“This collaboration not only strengthens our market position in Singapore but also allows us to better serve sensor users, by providing seamless access to our innovative technology through Ashtead Technology’s trusted channels. We’re confident this partnership will streamline access to our critical technology for a wide range of subsea applications.”

This agreement follows Ashtead Technology’s acquisition of Seatronics and J2 Subsea completed at the end of 2024 . The two firms have operational bases in Singapore, UAE, UK, and the U.S.

“We are pleased to partner with Impact Subsea and offer their innovative sensor solutions to our customers in Singapore. Their technology complements our existing portfolio, further enhancing our ability to provide a comprehensive range of high-quality equipment for subsea projects,” said Artur Gaylin , Regional General Manager at Ashtead Technology Singapore.
