$21 million in contracts comes to Norwegian shipowner with ‘Tier 1 international majors’

$21 million in contracts comes to Norwegian vessel operator with 'Tier 1 international majors'

Norwegian vessel owner and operator Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) has secured work for its vessels that has a gross contract value of $21 million for the firm period, with an additional $27.7 million for the option period.

GEOS has concluded a contract on the multi-purpose support vessel (MPSV) Energy Duchess that will keep the vessel busy until September 1, 2025, including a one-time six-month option.

Furthermore, the platform supply vessel (PSV) Energy Passion has secured a contract extension, firm until March 1, 2026, with an option for an additional 12 months.

Finally, the company has concluded the term for the PSV Energy Paradise or Pace until April 16, 2026, also with a one-time 12-month option.

The contracts are with Tier 1 international majors and have already commenced, GEOS noted.

The gross contract value for the firm periods is $21 million with an additional $27.7 million for the option period. As of today, GEOS’ backlog is approximately $27 million firm, with an additional $46.9 million for the option period.
