Norway’s vessel owner DOF Group has secured a contract extension for two platform supply vessels (PSVs) with the country’s state-owned energy giant Equinor.

While disclosing that an option has been exercised for the PSVs Skandi Flora and Skandi Mongstad , DOF explains that this allows the vessel pair to remain with Equinor for another year.

The extension, which is applicable from October 2025, will keep the ships busy until October 2026, when both have one further one-year extension option available.

The 2008-built Skandi Mongstad is of VS 495 DEM design and transports oilfield products and supplies to offshore drilling, as well as production facilities.

The 2009-built Skandi Flora is an Aker PSV 06 CD design PSV, which has been working on a long-term contract mainly in the North Sea.

The PSV duo’s extension comes shortly after DOF won two multi-year AHTS contracts , worth over $220 million, with Petrobras.
