Marine geophysical service provider PXGEO has secured two contracts with consortia led by Brazilian oil & gas company Petrobras for the provision of seismic acquisition offshore Brazil.
The projects will be carried out consecutively in 2026, with PXGEO deploying its proprietary MNode 4C ocean bottom node (OBN) technology as part of its scope to deliver seismic data acquisition and monitoring services in the Santos Basin.

Earlier this year PXGEO won its first contract in Malaysia , to deliver offshore seismic data acquisition services using its seismic vessel PXGEO 2. The two-year agreement with a new client includes a minimum commitment of 365 days of acquisition activity over the contract term.
