Aberdeen-headquartered integrated solutions specialist EnerMech has secured 12 more months of work off the coast of Australia with Woodside, an Australian oil and gas operator.

While revealing a further one-year contract renewal to deliver crane maintenance and integrity services across six assets for a company, which it describes as a major operator in North West Australia, EnerMech claims that the extension reinforces a trusted partnership that has been in place since 2019.

Charles ‘Chuck’ Davison. Jr. , EnerMech’s CEO, commented: “We place immense value in the strength of this working relationship and recognize the importance that robust and efficient crane services have to its operations.

“The knowledge developed by the local team as well as their innate understanding of complex lifting operations ensures that they are expertly placed to continue providing safe solutions that drive operational excellence.”

Covering six offshore assets, including several floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessels and a fixed offshore platform, the latest award is perceived to reflect the operator’s continued confidence in the Aberdeen-based company’s ability to deliver “safe, efficient, and technically robust solutions in complex offshore environments.”

A team of 12 EnerMech specialists will continue to manage the planning and execution of all offshore campaigns, maintaining 13 cranes and providing late-life asset support through inspection and integrity engineering services.

Jason Jeow , EnerMech’s Vice President of Asia Pacific, said: “The seamless collaboration between our two teams has been pivotal to this project success, with a shared appreciation of the nuances that the relevant assets pose.

“The Australian energy sector is one that EnerMech is dedicated to being at the heart of and this award reaffirms our commitment to the region and its world-class industry.”

This contract extension comes a month after EnerMech won a contract to provide pre-commissioning and specialist services for a gas development offshore Australia.
