Abu Dhabi-headquartered Ocean Oilfield Integrated Solutions has confirmed the arrival of a jack-up rig owned by Arabian Drilling, said to be the largest onshore and offshore drilling company in Saudi Arabia by fleet size, to its Hamriyah Shipyard in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

While disclosing that Arabian Drilling’s AD50 jack-up rig has come to the Hamriyah Shipyard, Ocean Oilfield has emphasized that this follows the recent arrival of the AD70 rig at the same facility.

The UAE-based player highlighted: “This milestone signifies the start of a comprehensive major maintenance program, underscoring our ongoing dedication to providing world-class offshore engineering and shipyard services.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to Arabian Drilling for their continued confidence in our capabilities and for the strong partnership we share. With two state-of-the-art shipyards in the UAE, Ocean Oilfield remains a trusted and reliable partner to the region’s energy sector.”

Ocean Oilfield is in the process of expanding its rig fleet thanks to the acquisition of the Noble Resolve rig, which is anticipated to be completed in Q2 2026, upon conclusion of the jack-up’s current contract.
