Norway’s Solstad Maritime has won a contract extension for its 2007-built construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Energy with an undisclosed client.

The extension period of eight months begins as of today, April 1, and ends on November 30, in direct continuation of the current contract, with further extension options.

According to Solstad, it bridges the period until the vessel’s future long-term commitment commencing in the first quarter of 2027.

The commercial terms and conditions, as well as the client’s name have not been disclosed.

The CSV is of VS 4220 design, is 130 meters long and can accommodate 100 persons.
