The Delfin LNG brownfield deepwater port is said to require minimal additional infrastructure investment to support up to three floating LNG (FLNG) vessels producing up to 13.2 mtpa of LNG. The project already received a deepwater port license from the Maritime Administration (MARAD) and approval from the U.S. Department of Energy for long-term exports of LNG to non-free trade agreement (non-FTA) countries.
Dudley Poston , CEO of Delfin, highlighted: “We look forward to building on our longstanding partnership with Gunvor as we continue to advance the development of critical energy infrastructure in the U.S. This additional agreement further highlights our strength as a dependable long-term supplier of clean and scalable LNG solutions.”
